Most of the hate groups in the United States clothe themselves in the Bill of Rights, citing "Freedom of Speech" as their inalienable right. And, we at CAH certainly do not advocate the usurpation of any rights from any group. What we do advocate, however, is the responsibility which comes with rights.
It is important to note that many of these sites are open to view. Where, indeed, is the responsibility of those utilizing these message boards and where is the responsibility that MSN has to the general internet public? Where, indeed, do we end this hate? One of sound mind would believe that this message would, in fact, garner some protest and some action:

Like you my friends, I'm throughly sickened by the perversions of man's form that niggs, injuns, spicks, japs, kikes and all the other mud peoples who infest this planet represent. Instead of garnering attention, instead of being met with outrage, instead of being removed by a community manager or MSN, the message still stands unchallenged while other messages continue to accrue. Do we, as human beings, not have the responsibility to refuse to provide a venue for the sick and depraved mentality that would promote such acts against our children? Doesn't MSN have that responsibility as well?
While protecting the rights of the hate groups, the rights of the rest of the net surfers are seriously impeded. MSN has a responsibility to all of us to protect our rights to peaceful and secure enjoyment and discussion. They can uphold our rights by enforcing their own Code of Conduct. They can protect the rights of the internet community by saying NO to hate rather than allowing it to flourish.
That silence=acceptance and that ignoring hate and racism will not go away is the premise upon which CAH is built. The more information we bring to the public, the more awareness we have raised. But, having awareness is only the first step in combatting the pernicious hatred that is consuming our society. The rest requires action. Won't you DO THE RIGHT THING? Contact MSN now. Tell them what you think of their blatant disregard of their own Code of Conduct. Demand that they demonstrate a responsible attitude. Demand that they DO THE RIGHT THING!
